Welcome!
Hi! I’m Kayli Battel, a Master’s student in Human Factors Engineering at the Tufts University School of Engineering, set to graduate in 2025. I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Factors Engineering with a minor in Engineering Education from Tufts in 2024.
Currently, I work as an Engineering Psychologist Student Trainee at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center. My personal research explores human factors heuristics and dashboard design for semi-autonomous vehicles, and I am deeply passionate about making STEM education engaging and accessible for children to inspire the next generation of innovators.
When I’m not working or studying, you can find me playing volleyball, rock climbing, painting, fostering animals, traveling, playing DND, or watching movies.
